A snapshot of Christmas 2007 (yes, that's not a typo). It's a collage of my sleepyhead cats and some Christmas scenes, put together rather easily thanks to LumaPix FotoFusion! Otherwise, this page would have taken me infinitely longer to create and post.* Thanks also to Obsidian Dawn for the Stitching brushes!
* Too much went on from the end of October 2008 till February. I enrolled in online classes on web writing, attended a media training workshop in Bangkok, spent time with my sis before she moved to Florida, got really busy preparing for Christmas, and got burned out by January. But I can breathe now, so hence this rather belated post. I can't wait to digiscrap again! :)

Catula
Happy Halloween! For the past three weekends, I had agonized over finding the right layout for this page. Meet Bloo, a.k.a. Catula, a name given by my brother. Bloo's got a knack for showing off his fangs, whether or not it's Halloween! But despite the scary looks, Bloo's a sweet cat who doesn't bite.
Notes: Patterned papers from Stone Accents Studio's SAS Halloween Mega Kit Freebie by JulieO.
Fonts are Blood of Dracula by Brad O. Nelson, and A Charming Font by A. Hofeld.
Have a purr-fectly spooky Halloween!

Piper & Strider
Here's Piper with her kid Strider. This mother-daughter moment was so touching, I knew I had to use a lacy, vintage layout. Charlie's Digiscraps to the rescue! All papers and elements are from the Wedding Treasures kit, and it's well worth the six-part download because you get more than 30 beautiful papers and some 40+ elements (I particularly love the lace and doily!). The kit works well not only for wedding pages, but for any theme that calls for satin, lace, and pearls (like this one). Do check it out, and have a purr-fect day!

One Cool Cat
Here's Minggoy, or Minggy M'Love, the first cat I really allowed to sleep in my room (and on my bed!). He was orphaned when he was about a month old, which explains why he never outgrew his habit of sucking cloth. Minggy's waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge now, but in the meantime, he lives on in my heart.
Note: The background paper was made using the Micro Patterns Photoshop Brushes by Stephanie Shimerdla of Obsidian Dawn (www.brushes.obsidiandawn.com). It's supposed to represent a blanket that Minggy loves so much!
Have a purr-fect day!

Must Be French
Here's Picart, one of the friendliest cats I ever had. He would actually invite the neighborhood cats to dine at our place and would, at other times, sit at our neighbor's back gate and keep the chickens company (without ever thinking of eating them!).
Picart is Piper's kid, and when he was born we noticed his "goatee". We decided right there and then that he must be French, and so we named him Picart (not exactly the right spelling) after Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the Enterprise.
Picky's now waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge, probably boldly going where no cat has gone before...
Design notes: Made with Photoshop Elements 4. The font is Girls are Weird by John Martz (just Google it -- it's free!) while the metallic effect on the fleur-de-lis embellishment is courtesy of Clint Graham (http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/index.cfm?event=extensionDetail&extid=1043661#)

Piper's Dream
Here's my first ever digital scrapbook page, featuring Piper. This is a digital version of a traditional paper page I was working on years ago, but never got to finish (sheepish grin). Except for the orange photo mats which I scanned, everything else was created in Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.
Have a purr-fect day!
